Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has been recently cast in the new Star Wars film that will be focusing on the life of young Han Solo. Just what adventures did the famous scoundrel get up to before he joined the rebellion?
Clarke will be performing alongside Alden Ehrenreich, Han Solo himself, as well as Donald Glover, who was also recently cast as young Lando Calrissian. Who knows what these three will get up to, but I can’t wait to find out!
The official Star Wars website had this to say about the casting news:
“StarWars.com is excited to announce that Clarke, known for her stirring portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen in HBO’s Game of Thrones, will join the upcoming untitled Han Solo Star Wars movie. Clarke’s role will round out a dynamic cast of characters that Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures.”
We have yet to know who she’s officially been cast as, or what the name of film will ultimately be. We have time to wait for those exciting details, though, as the movie isn’t scheduled for release until 2018.
