Disney and Lucasfilm today announced that the annual product launch event known as “Force Friday” will be returning this year on Friday, September 1, 2017, with online and brick-and-mortar stores around the world opening for a weekend-long celebration of all things Star Wars.
Not only did we get more information on the newly dubbed “Star Wars Force Friday II,” but Disney also released images of the packaging for the new line of Star Wars: The Last Jedi products. The packaging features lightsaber-wielding Rey (with hair half-down), Poe Dameron (with helmet and new flight suit), and Finn (with an open-necked tee and Poe’s Jacket).

In addition to Star Wars product news, Lucasfilm recently announced that Kathleen Kennedy and The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson will be part of a panel at this year’s Star Wars Celebration, which takes place in Orlando, Florida this spring. In anticipation of the panel, Johnson posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the upcoming film on his Tumblr.

As you can see the First Order Stormtrooper armor has been slightly tweaked from the armor that appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit theaters on December 15, 2017.
