It’s a safe bet you know 2017 is a big birthday for Star Wars. The franchise is hitting the big 4-0. But did you know this year also marks a major milestone for Entertainment Earth?
That’s right, we turns 21 today (April 1). You know what that means…
It’s time to raise a toast!
As we mosey down to the Mos Eisley cantina for a proper party (tell Wuher he’s joining Ackmena on the late shift tonight), let’s take a look back to a long time ago.
Back in 1996, two brothers from Southern California, Jason and Aaron Labowitz, launched the Entertainment Earth website with Kenner’s ’90s Star Wars line of action figures and vehicles.
Jason’s childhood passion for collecting original Star Wars action figures and toys – as well as their packaging – was the spark for the company, but Entertainment Earth quickly grew, delivering licensed merchandise from many sci-fi, fantasy, superhero, and other generally super-cool genres to enthusiastic clients.
So break out your best bottle of Corellian brandy (because blue milk is kids’ stuff) and join us in raising a glass to our past 21 years. We’re excited to see what the next 21 years will hold!
