New Alice Through the Looking Glass Trailer Features Narration from Alan Rickman

The newest trailer for Alice Through the Looking Glass has some fun editing, but perhaps its most notable aspect is the narration by the late Alan Rickman, whose last role features him reprising his part as the Blue Caterpillar.

“You’ve been gone too long, Alice,” Rickman murmurs in his familar, rumbling voice as the trailer begins.

The film sees Mia Wasikowska’s Alice returning to Wonderland after three years away. She’s on a desperate mission to save the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) from Time (Sacha Baron Cohen).

Plus, all your favorites from the original will also be back, including: the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter), the Chesire Cat (Stephen Fry), the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen), and the White Queen (Anne Hathaway).

It seems very similar to the first film, which premiered in 2010, which is a good or a bad thing, depending on how you felt about that one.

Alice Through the Looking Glass is directed by James Bobin and will arrive in theaters on May 27, 2016.

What do you think of the trailer? Are you looking forward to this film?
