This year will see the release of three new Marvel films – Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and Ant-Man and the Wasp. And this morning Marvel gave us a first look at Ant-Man and the Wasp in the form of a trailer.
The trailer itself didn’t offer too much in the way of plot or an extended look at the main antagonist of the film, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), however, we do get a lot of Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lily) in full Wasp costumed action and a quick look at Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburne). All the main players from the first film are returning, as the team finds themselves still dealing with Scott’s decision to help Captain America during the events of Captain America: Civil War, which puts them constantly on the run. The trailer shows a lot of fast-paced action and promises a return to the Quantum Realm where Hope’s mother Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) has been lost in for years.
We’re only a handful of days away from the release of Black Panther, a few months away from Avengers: Infinity War, and only two months after that we’ll get Ant-Man and the Wasp (July 6, 2018).
