Boba Fett joins the Meisho Movie Realization series in a spectacular feudal Japan aesthetic. This is the latest figure to be added to Bandai’s line of Japanese themed Star Wars toys.
Bandai hired artist Takeyuki Takeya to re-imagine famous Star Wars characters in a feudal Japanese setting. While this may sound strange, there are in fact a lot of Japanese influences at work in the original Star Wars trilogy. George Lucas was so greatly influenced by Japanese master Akira Kurosawa that he lifted large chunks of his Hidden Fortress for Star Wars.
This figure features an extensive array of accessories – including characteristic backpack missile that can be removed and attached, plus an articulated helmet-mounted scope! In addition to short ninja-style katana and sheath, he features numerous ninja-style blade accessories that can be subtly attached to shin and forearms!
