Cardcaptor Sakura is a less popular series than the juggernaut Sailor Moon, but it’s no less beloved by fans of the magical girl genre. The CLAMP series is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month, which of course means there is a wave of collectibles in celebration. Many items are virtually exclusive to Japan, but that isn’t the case with the Sakura Kinomoto SH Figuarts!
Bandai Tamashii Nations’ SH Figuarts series are highly poseable and detailed figures that are relatively affordable for collectors on a budget. As fans of Cardcaptor Sakura will know, there are dozens of outfits created for Sakura that could be used in future figures, but for now there are two: her iconic pink dress from the first opening theme, and her cute “egg” costume from the second opening.
Each figure comes with interchangeable hands and facial expressions to allow for a variety of possible poses. Also included are Sakura’s sealing wand, a Clow card, and a Kero figure to stand with Sakura.
The egg outfit figure has adorable expression and hand pieces to pose Sakura in her “floaty” squee mode, and Kero is posed in flight.
The pink dress figure also includes a blue sky background with cherry blossom petals swirling around, so you can recreate scenes from the classic opening song. It is packaged in a gorgeous box shaped like the Book of Clow.
Both figures are in stock now at Entertainment Earth. Get in now to catch yours!
