5. The Twilight Zone Five Characters in Search of an Exit 3 3/4-Inch Action Figures In Color – Convention Exclusive
“Five Characters in Search of an Exit” is not so much spooky as it is a little sad, but Rod Serling’s script before the twist is revealed excellently builds tension, and there is an ominous vibe over these people being trapped in a circular room with no windows or doors. Each colored figure measures 3 3/4-inches tall, and all five come packaged in their memorable ladder formation.
Do you remember that twisted feeling you got in the pit of your stomach when the bandaged patient in “Eye of the Beholder” removed her bandages to reveal that her face… looked exactly like yours? It’s a haunting scene, and this black and white diorama, which measures 5-inches wide x 3 1/2-inches tall x 2 1/4-inches deep, will make you shiver in anticipation and dread every time you see it.
I can understand how this piece might rank higher on other people’s lists. Luckily for me, dolls have never been a particular fear of mine. However, I can’t deny those pigtails, that facial expression, and her demand that you “better be nice to me” are the stuff of nightmares. And Bif Bang Pow! has perfectly captured Talky Tina’s utter spook factor in this 3 3/4-inch scale action figure.
It’s late, and the plane is shaking from turbulence. Then you see it out on the wing – the gremlin… This furry, abnormal creature is pulling up panels, and messing with the wiring, and no one can see it but you. This episode has stayed with viewers for years, and we still don’t know if the gremlin was real, or what his intentions were. Perhaps you can finally find out the answer with this 3 3/4-inch tall, black-and-white action figure from the famed episode!
He might look innocent enough, especially as a colorful 3 3/4-inch scale action figure, but there’s two words that makes this piece the spookiest on the list: the cornfield.
