Breaking Bad‘s dream team, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, reunited in a video short to promote the Emmy awards. Watch it now in the video below!
While the deadly meth making duo did not team up as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, their iconic characters from the hit show, they are playing all new disreputable characters. Cranston and Paul are the owners of Barely Legal Pawn, a pawn shop dealing in shady business. Coincidentally, Barely Legal Pawn is also the subject of a reality series. Did we mention that the video short spoofs reality tv pawn shows?
Joining Cranston and Paul is Veep‘s Julia Louis-Dreyfus as herself. In the short, Louis-Dreyfuss takes her supporting actress Emmy from the iconic ’90s sitcom Seinfield to Barely Legal Pawn. Find out what happens when Louis-Dreyfuss becomes a client looking to offload television’s most coveted item.
Without spoiling the video, some hilarious shenanigans ensue. In jokes abound and any fans of Cranston, Paul, and Louis-Dreyfuss will enjoy this short.
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards are live on Monday, August 25, at 8pm EST/5pm PDT.
