The conclusion of the latest X-Men trilogy, X-Men: Apocalypse, is set to begin production in the coming months and, just like with his previous films, director Bryan Singer began to tease the film on social media which you can see below.
Singer is a notable director who uses social media to market his films. He did this with X-Men: Days of Future Past, gaining a lot of buzz and speculation from fans and press alike. Social media is certainly a tool for this, especially with highly anticipated films like X-Men, and it makes everything a more interactive and exciting experience.
In his latest bout of social media teasing, he posted some photos to his Instagram account, indicating that location scouting started with a pose in front of the famous X doors.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set to hit theatres on May 27, 2016, directed by Bryan Singer, and starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert. Newcomers Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, and Tye Sheridan will also join as a young Storm, Jean Grey, and Cyclops. Oscar Isaac will be playing Apocalypse himself. Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart will not be reprising their roles as older Magneto and Professor X.
