Get Your First Look at Black Panther in Civil War — Along with Another Familiar Face

The next Marvel film, Captain America: Civil War, is in the middle of filming – which means pictures, rumors, and possible spoilers.

As we’ve discussed before, Civil War has turned into something of another Avengers film, with plenty of new faces beyond those of Cap and his friends.

Thanks to ComingSoon, we now have our first look at Black Panther – check out the photos below!

Unfortunately, it’s not his actor, Chadwick Boseman, but his stuntman. Still, it is his costume and who he’s with might give you some meat to chew on as well.

Shooting in Berlin, Germany, Black Panther (Wakandan name T’Challa) and the stunt double for Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier (now clad in jeans, a jacket, and sporting a backpack) are seen on the side of a building.

The stuntman for Cap was also present – pursuing them perhaps? In the comics, T’Challa and Bucky don’t have any sort of significant relationship or interactions, but during World War II, Captain America traveled to Wakanda and earned the trust and respect of T’Challa’s father, T’Chaka. This is how Cap receives his first piece of Vibranium.

As for Black Panther’s costume, it looks to be pretty accurate to the comics, which is exciting.

Captain America: Civil War, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and starring Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey. Jr, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Daniel Brühl, Chadwick Boseman, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle, is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
