Get ready, Ghostbusters fans!
Lots of information has come out for the upcoming film today and I am all about it.
Last night, director Paul Feig sent out this tweet:

Trailer update and an official website! Of course, the trailer won’t be here until the end of the month, so there’s not much to say about it, but it’s still exciting that it will be here so soon.
As for the website, it’s a pretty great site that boasts a shop, links to where you can find the movie and all its stars on social media, as well as information on both the original films and this new one.
Plus, there’s the first quote from original director Ivan Reitman about the film:
“I believe the movie is going to be quite wonderful, because I know the cast works. The ladies in this new film are in every way as talented as that original group of actors were.”
Sounds about right to me. I’ve been championing this film since the beginning, and everything I hear about it as we get closer and closer to its release date only gets me more excited.
Especially as new photos are released, like some were today! Including our first look at Chris Hemsworth the secretary!
See what I mean? They look excellent and the continued gender reversal with Chris Hemsworth as the secretary is going to be hilarious.
I’m eager for looks at the original cast’s cameos, but I suspect we won’t see those until the final product.
Ghostbusters, directed by Paul Feig and starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Andy Garcia, is set to hit theaters on July 22, 2016.
