Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Trailer Invites You Back to the Wizarding World

If you’ve missed the Wizarding World, get ready to go back, because the first trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has arrived!

Set decades before the events of Harry Potter, specifically in 1920s America, the film follows Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), a wizard and Magizoologist (someone who studies magical creatures), as he travels to document magical creatures.

The trailer doesn’t hint at much more beyond that, but simply hearing the incantation “Lumos Maxima” again is enough to give me chills.

We learn that Newt has come to New York City with a case containing magical beasts, and some have escaped – cue a shot of Colin Farrell standing in a room with the wall blown out. Seems our characters are going to have quite a bit to deal with on their plate.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is the screenwriter, so I think we’re in for a real treat.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, directed by David Yates and starring Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ron Perlman, and Colin Farrell, is set to hit theaters on November 18, 2016.

What do you think of the trailer? Are you excited for more of the Wizarding World?
