Can’t wait to find out more about the characters featured in the new Ghostbusters film? Well, you’re in luck, because Sony released a jam-packed behind the scenes look at the paranormal exterminator’s resident receptionist in honor of Administrative Professionals Day.
Kevin (Chris Hemsworth) fills the role that is most similar to Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts) in the original film. He’s hired to help the team with their day to day tasks of running a business, but as we see from this featurette, he’s more than a little absent minded. As Hemswoth himself puts it, Kevin is “a big, dumb puppy dog.”
Despite his shortcomings, it would appear that the entire team is enamored with him. It’s understandable, Kevin is most definitely a tall drink of water. Also, how awesome is it that Hemsworth gets to use his natural accent?
In this clip we also find out that Kevin hopes to join the Ghostbusters in more than an administrative capacity. However, given what we’ve seen so far, I’m not sure that I want him operating a proton pack.
We’ll have to wait to see if he gets a promotion when Ghostbusters hits theaters July 15, 2016.
What do you think of Kevin so far? Should he get the chance to help the team bust some ghosts? Let us know in the comments!
