The Brains Behind the Turtles Joins the Statue Line

Hey. Donnie here. I’m the brains of this operation. So I invent gadgets, weapons and awesome vehicles to keep me and my brothers safe. I can also hack into computer systems, crack security codes and break through firewalls.

Good Smile brings the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to life and last in the line is Donnie as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Donatello by James Jean Statue, which pairs perfectly with the matching Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael statues!

tmnt-finish-medresThe Donnie statue completes the line based on acclaimed artist James Jean’s original rendition of the turtles. Donnie stands tall and fierce on a pillar, holding his bo staff over his shoulder. The inventive weaponeer stands approximately 10 1/2-inches tall, including his base.

The distressed paint deco highlights Jean’s design. Donnie’s purple bandana complements his soft green skin.

“James Jean is a good friend and one of the most talented artists that I have had the fortune to work with,” says Takanori Aki, President and CEO of Good Smile Company. “The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles art piece he created for our project is truly fantastic. Staying true to his vision, our Good Smile Company creative team worked intricate details into the collectible statues which capture the essence of his artwork and will be just as great.”

The final brother is currently available for pre-order with free shipping at Entertainment Earth, and is scheduled to arrive in April 2015.
