What’s even more exciting is that he can now talk about it. And that’s exactly what he did when he spoke to Empire recently.
On his character, the Grandmaster, who’s fond of mastering games throughout the universe: “He’s a hedonist, a pleasure-seeker, an enjoyer of life and tastes and smells. I thought, ‘I can do that, I’ll bet!'”
Not gonna lie, with the words “hedonist” and “pleasure-seeker,” I can totally picture Goldblum.
He also said that director Taika Waititi (who’s one of the most exciting components of this film) is encouraging him to improvise and do his own thing, but also adds that he hopes Waititi doesn’t throw him out on the first day.
Goldblum is expecting to film for three weeks in Brisbane, Australia along with the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Cate Blanchett, and Anthony Hopkins. He has already started doing research for the role.
He’ll next be seen in Independence Day: Resurgence on June 24 and Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to arrive on November 3, 2017.
