The Rebels Are Back!
Based on the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels comes this fantastic Ezra and Chopper Maquette Statue from Gentle Giant Ltd.
This fantastic animated Ezra and Chopper Maquette depicts the protagonists from the Star Wars Rebels series. The statue is crafted in the bold style of the new series. The master artisans at Gentle Giant produced a 1:8 scale statue that is about as screen-accurate as it can get. From the paint scheme on Ezra’s pilot helmet to the subtle shades of Chopper’s various reassembled parts, no detail has been overlooked. Each hand-painted piece has been cast in high-quality polystone and comes individually numbered with a matching certificate of authenticity.
Star Wars Rebels opens about 5 years before Episode IV: A New Hope, continuing the epic, action-packed saga. As the evil Empire tightens its authority on Lothal, Ezra Bridger, a Force-sensitive intergalactic con-artist, and Chopper, a cobbled-together astromech droid with an attitude, find themselves in the middle of an adventure.
The Empire is amassing its stronghold over the galaxy. At the onset of this new series, the Emperor deploys his most dangerous servant, the Inquisitor, to eradicate all traces of the Jedi from the galaxy. The villain will stop at nothing to achieve this objective.
The Ezra and Chopper Maquette is currently available for pre-order at Entertainment Earth and is scheduled to arrive in April 2015.
