He once played a villain in a Marvel movie, but now Willem Dafoe has joined the cast of Justice League as a good guy.
The Hollywood Reporter released the news first, with the only detail that Dafoe will be playing a “good guy.”
Justice League: Part One will be director Zack Snyder’s follow-up to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It includes the team-up of Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), among supporting characters like Lois Lane (Amy Adams), Commissioner Gordon (J.K. Simmons), and Mera (Amber Heard).
And also Dafoe now.
It’s set to hit theaters on November 17, 2017, with Part Two following in 2019.
