Alongside tomorrow night’s premiere of Agent Carter on ABC comes the full-length trailer for Marvel’s newest film, Ant-Man. We completely understand if you can’t wait that long (we can’t either), so we have a teaser trailer for you to watch.
In this ant-sized trailer, we see Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), looking a little worse for wear, walking with federal personnel of some kind, which is perhaps a hint to his new backstory. We also see Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) walking through a facility and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), the original Ant-Man, walking into his workshop. Plus there are a lot of people hitting each other and getting into fights – so a typical superhero film, really.
Interestingly, one of the fights appears to take place in prison, which we’re thinking is from Lang’s time as a master thief. We’re still curious about the synopsis describing Pym and Lang’s relationship as that of mentor-mentee. Hopefully we get more information in the full-length trailer airing tomorrow night!
Ant-Man, directed by Peyton Reed, is set to come out on July 17, 2015. It stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Michael Douglas, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Judy Greer, Tip “Ti” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, and Jordi Mollà.
