There’s been a lot going on in the world of the Avengers lately. They’re ramping up for their next big film, Age of Ultron, with trailers galore, interviews everywhere you look, and fans wildly speculating about what the film will bring.
Recently Marvel has been releasing character posters for the film, only one or two at a time, and today we finally got posters for our newest characters: Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Aaron Johnson’s Quicksilver, her twin brother.
You can see all the character posters in the gallery below.
The posters are epic in scale and a really good showcase of each character. The one thing that stood out the most to me about the posters is that Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye has a different background than his fellow teammates.
Where the rest have buildings and destruction behind them, Hawkeye has a background of snowy mountains and destruction behind him. Both of these settings are featured in the trailer, but it’s curious that Hawkeye’s would be the only one to showcase one particular setting.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olson, Aaron Johnson, Cobie Smulders, Paul Bettany, and James Spader. It’s slated to premiere on May 1st.
What do you think of the posters? Which one’s your favorite?
