They may not be bottles, but Hobbits love mugs too, right? Well they’ll certainly love these Lord of the Rings Morphing Mugs and you will too!
Watch as hot liquid transforms these black mugs to reveal gorgeous images from the three films in the first cinematic trilogy in Middle Earth .
The mug for The Fellowship of the Ring reveals the nine members of the Fellowship traveling, silhouetted against the gorgeous backdrop of Argonath. Also known as The Pillars of the Kings, this massive monument features two statues as the likeness of Isildur and Anárion flanking the River Anduin. It’s featured near the end of the film.
The Two Towers shows Gollum leading Frodo and Sam, once again in silhouette, against the two towers: Barad-dûr, where the Eye of Sauron is located, and Isengard.
Last is The Return of the King. This color changing mug shows the silhouettes of Gandalf, Legolas and Gimli, and Aragorn riding horses. They are set against the fiery and desolate background of Mordor, featuring Mount Doom and, once again, Barad-dûr.
The mugs hold 11 ounces of liquid. Unfortunately for Pippin, they do not come in pints.
