If you’re anything like the rest of America, you’ve either just finished glutting on Luke Cage or you’re in the middle of it. And this, no doubt, comes on the heels of watching Jessica Jones and, of course, Daredevil. If you can’t get enough of the excellent adaptations of Marvel properties that Netflix has been pumping out, we’ve got a treat for you. The brand new trailer for Iron Fist has just hit the internet and audiences are stoked.
Finn Jones stars as Danny Rand, a normal guy who was supposed to have died in a plane crash. 15 years after Rand didn’t die in a plane crash, he resurfaces in New York with a new set of skills. Those skills are the power of the Iron Fist. His remarkable abilities delight his friends and beguile his enemies. One of his allies, Colleen Wing (played by Jessica Henwick), runs a martial arts dojo—and we’re betting that the dojo comes in pretty handy.
This series is also bringing in some characters and actors known from other Marvel series: Carrie-Ann Moss as Jeri Hogarth and Rosario Dawson and Claire Temple both from Jessica Jones will be appearing. This, of course, heralds the coming another series, The Defenders which will bring all four Marvel Netflix series together.
