Disney not only has Avengers: Age of Ultron coming out next month, but another major film – Tomorrowland. The third trailer was released today and it looks to be just as exciting as those superheroes. Watch it below!
Directed by Brad Bird (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, The Incredibles), the film relies heavily on Disney history, specifically with the creation of Tomorrowland at Disneyland.
In the film, Casey Newton (Britt Robertson) stumbles upon a pin that leads her to the futuristic world of Tomorrowland, which seems to exist between time and space. This leads her to Frank Walker (George Clooney) and an adventure to fix the future.
Like past trailers, this one focuses on the first half of the film. We’ve hardly seen the famous world the film is about – which is exciting.
This trailer shows more of the attack on Frank’s house, including all the tricks and technology he has up his sleeve. It’s action-packed and a lot of fun.
Alongside the new trailer, Walt Disney Studios announced that a six-minute preview for the film will be attached to select IMAX screenings of Age of Ultron. This marketing push in the homestretch before the premiere bodes well for the film.
Tomorrowland hits theaters on May 22, 2015 and stars Britt Robertson, George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Raffey Cassidy.
