It’s official. Fan-favorite, Boba Fett is finally getting his own standalone Star Wars film.
If that news alone doesn’t excite you then maybe this will – the untitled film will be written and directed by Logan director, James Mangold.
But wait, there’s even more! According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Lucasfilm is developing movies on a slew of characters including Obi-Wan Kenobi, which has Stephen Daldry in negotiations to direct, although no writers are working on a script.”
What other anthology films is Lucasfilm developing? There are no further details at this time. And we will also have to wait for the official release date for the Boba Fett movie to be announced, but at least, it’s good to hear that an auteur like Mangold is at the helm of the next Star Wars movie.
