Before I was old enough to be watching Saturday Night Live, there was All That.
Nickelodeon’s sketch variety show introduced me to a world of comedy I had never known before. Lori Beth, Kenan and Kel, Amanda Bynes, Danny Tamberelli, Josh Server, these were all comedians who were as delightful to me as a child as Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis, and Kate McKinnon are to me as an adult.
It created spin-off shows like Kenan and Kel and The Amanda Show that also brought smiles to my face.
Well, this year, it’s getting a reunion on Nick’s new programming block, The Splat.
Sure, the comedy may not have the nuance or sharpness that some of SNL’s best skits do, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t just get hit with a huge wave of nostalgic joy.
The reunion is coming in April, so be sure to stay tuned!
Did you watch All That? Are you excited for the reunion and all the throwback stuff Nick is currently doing?
