Nickelodeon Considering Bringing Back Some Favorite 90s Shows

Kids these days don’t appreciate real cartoons… but soon they just might.

Nickelodeon is considering bringing back some of their older programs and reworking them into their schedule.

President of content and development at Nick, Russell Hicks, told Variety: “We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way.”

This could mean the likes of Doug, Rugrats, and Hey Arnold! back on your television. Depending on which way you look at it, this could either be a miracle and you’ll be using the praise hands emoji for the next several days or you might see it as a mistake and opt instead for some… less happy emojis.

Hicks didn’t reveal any one specific series that might be brought back so let your minds run wild. Speaking of wild, I definitely would not mind a revival of The Wild Thornberrys and new memes of Nigel. Or even a new generation for All That, the SNL of our childhoods. Okay, now I’m getting a little nostalgic…

There’s no knowing when or how this will happen, whether as a new series or a special or movie, but it’s a lot to process in the meantime.

Would you want some of your favorite Nick shows back on TV? Which show would you most want to see again? Share your picks in the comments!
