Rejoice, Legend of Zelda fans, for today is a day of celebration!
Nintendo announced their next Zelda game, Hyrule Warriors Legends, will be available for the 3DS in North America on March 25, 2016.
The game combines Zelda with Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors series. It’ll have plenty of the features you love already, plus some new ones including switching characters during battles.
One of those new characters has people buzzing (myself included)…

Meet Linkle, the female counterpart to protagonist and hero Link!
She wields dual crossbows instead of a sword and as a spinning kick attack as a riff on Link’s spinning sword move. Her design is awesome and she looks fantastic, but… that name really is unfortunate. There’s no reason Nintendo couldn’t have called her Link, given there have been multiple versions of the character, all boiling down to reincarnation.
Either way, I’m already excited about her and this game!
Are you planning to get it on March 25 next year? Let us know how excited you are!
