If you watched the Entertainment Earth live midnight unboxing of Star Wars toys and collectibles on Facebook, you were among the first to see so much great stuff now available to help fans commemorate and celebrate the first-ever standalone Star Wars movie.
You may have already snagged your favorites from our extensive Rogue One shop. But in case you’ve still got some Imperial credits burning a hole in your pocket, are looking for the perfect present for a special Jedi, or have started making your own holiday wish list (only 47 shopping days ‘til Life Day), here’s what we’ve picked as the cream of the 2016 Rogue One: A Star Wars Story crop!
A new Star Wars movie means new spaceships, and Rogue One is no exception. The sleek and powerful U-Wing ferries Rebel soldiers behind enemy lines and provides much-needed air support during daring strikes against Imperial strongholds. Hasbro’s toy version of the craft is armed with two Nerf cannons, and includes a 3- 3/4 inch scale action figure (with his own blaster) of Cassian Andor, resourceful Rebel intelligence captain. You’ve got to wonder about the in-universe reason we don’t see any U-Wings at the Battle of Yavin—but with this toy, you’ll never have to be without one.
Hasbro’s first wave of 3 3/4-inch action figures to accompany Rogue One includes not only characters from the new movie but also familiar faces from Star Wars Rebels and The Force Awakens. Grab them all, and stage a time-and-space bending mashup that can only take place in toy box continuity! Could Kanan take down Kylo Ren? Would Sabine “art bomb” K-2SO? You make the call!
The Black Series has become the gold standard in action figures. This exactingly detailed figure of Rogue One’s Jyn Erso – shows why. Dressed in layers for the frosty climate of the ancient, sacred world of Jedha, Jyn has a trusty blaster at her side (or in her hand, your choice). With multiple points of articulation and a wide range of movement, this figure looks ready, as Jyn says, “to make a real difference.”
If you want to sound ultra-authentic the next time you’re talking with some of the other guys or gals about that new BT-16 (they say it’s quite a thing to see), this is the helmet you’re looking for. Designed and manufactured with the same attention to detail that marks The Black Series action figures, this screen-accurate replica fits over your head. A button on the side electronically modifies your voice so you sound just like one of the Empire’s troops. (Unfortunately, neither batteries nor pinpoint blaster accuracy included.)
Star Wars Rogue One Darth Vader Voice Changer Mask
Would you rather sound like the Stormtroopers’ big, bad, heavy-breathing boss? We’ve got you covered! Wearing this detailed and daunting Darth Vader mask is “like getting the keys your very own Death Star.” When original Star Wars concept artist Ralph McQuarrie first painted Vader, he thought the helmet and respirator were something the villain would wear only in the vacuum of space. Instead, Vader’s headpiece has become one of the most iconic costume elements in movie history—and this voice-changing helmet lets you share the look and the sound of it!
“Your father wanted you to have this when you were old enough…” Well, we don’t know if that’s true in your case, but we want you to have these new additions to Hasbro’s BladeBuilders system of mix-and-match lightsabers (regardless of what your dad thinks). With either the Blast-Tech or the Spin Action model (or both), you’ll be ready to recreate what promises to be Rogue One’s epic lightsaber action, or to dream up all-new, high-stakes duels of your own.
It’s time to Go Rogue. New Star Wars Rogue One items are live now on Entertainment Earth!
