Out of all of Hollywood’s upcoming reboots, Ghostbusters is the one that perhaps has the most eyes on it. The film started principal photography and director Paul Feig has taken to social media to get us all excited for the film. Not that I needed any incentive to be excited, though!

It all started on June 17th when Feig tweeted this:

Social media is the way to market a film or series these days so it’s savvy of Feig to use it to his advantage and invite fans into the world of his movie.

This picture of him with the slime is fun, recognizable and a treat for fans.

Then suddenly in the last 24 hours Feig gave us two more photos!

The new costumes and proton pack are the perfect illustrations of Feig’s vision. It’s clear that he intends to stay true to the original while making the film his own as well.

As fans will notice, the costumes are very similar — the biggest difference is the set of orange stripes. The original logo is there in all its glory though! Each costume is labeled with its actress’ last name too. The proton pack is also nearly identical to the original, with only some minor changes.

We’re excited to see more looks at the film from Feig as production continues. The film seems to be in good hands so far — and how could it not be, with such a proven director and cast?

Ghostbusters, directed by Paul Feig and starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth, is set to hit theaters on July 22, 2016.

What do you think of these photos? Are you looking forward to the film? Let us know in the comments!
