More amazing news for fans of all things DC! With their upcoming slate of films announced yesterday, actors and directors are now surfacing to play the coveted parts in making these highly anticipated films. One such film, Suicide Squad, has some huge names associated with it already. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio is eyeing Ryan Gosling to star in the film with Will Smith, Tom Hardy, and Margot Robbie. David Ayer of Training Day, End of Watch, and Fury is confirmed as the director of Suicide Squad. While we did get a rumor on the roster of the team-up initially, it seems there may be alterations with the newest additions of Will Smith and Margot Robbie.
While it is unknown which characters these actors will play, it’s safe to assume Deadshot will be the star of the film, which, presumably, would be Ryan Gosling’s role. Will Smith could play either Bronze Tiger or Black Spider, and Tom Hardy would make a good Captain Boomerang. It would sure make a lot of people happy if Margot Robbie played Harley Quinn! But hey, it’s pure speculation at this point.
