It’s been 11 years since our last King Kong film which means, naturally, it’s time for another.
Of course, this time, we have an entirely new leading man and lady in the form of Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson. You can check out your first glimpse at them and the rest of the new cast in a behind the scenes video!
Feel free to ogle Hiddleston in that tight shirt, there’s no judgement here.
The film documents a group of explorers going to an island, where they run into some beasts like they’ve never seen before. Nothing new so far. Then cast member Corey Hawkins notes that this film takes place during the Vietnam War, and suddenly things could get way more interesting.
Also a reminder that this is the Kong film that will lead into the King Kong vs Godzilla crossover.
Kong: Skull Island is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Corey Hawkins, and Jason Mitchell. It’s set to arrive in theaters on March 10, 2017.
