Before we see the youngest take on Peter Parker yet – actor Tom Holland was actually a teenager when he filmed his scenes as the high school webslinger – Funko is unveiling their line of Spider-Man: Homecoming Pop! figures and keychains!
Peter Parker shows our webby hero out of costume, wearing a properly nerdy science sweatshirt and classic sneakers. The Homemade Suit Spider-Man features Peter’s initial prototype, a standard rite of passage in every superhero’s career – it may be a bit rough around the edges, but you can still see Peter’s science know-how with the built-in telescopic goggles.
Spider-Man gives us the fully finished super suit, web-shooters on display. Of course, every teen hero needs a mentor, and Peter lucks out when he gets Tony Stark himself as his crime-fighting godfather/wacky uncle (nice cat shirt and vanity sunglasses, Anthony).
And, last but not least, there’s no drama or action without an impressive villain: the Vulture is certainly trying to take the cake for Most Intimidating Wings. The clawed boots are also a nice touch, Toomes.
Each Pop! figure stands the usual 3 3/4-inches tall and comes packaged in a window display box for those who prefer to keep their collections cherry.
But wait! That’s not all! Two new keychains join the Pocket Pop! line: Spider-Man, posed in his iconic crouch with web-shooter at the ready, and Homemade Suit Spider-Man, who means well and is trying his best, dangit. Each keychain stands 1 1/2-inches tall and also comes in a mini window display box.
The whole line should be available this May, ahead of the Spider-Man Homecoming release in July, so pre-order now and we’ll sling Spidey and his pals your way as soon as possible!
