The Joker isn’t the only DC villain that Mark Hamill is associated with. 20 years ago, he also James Jesse a.k.a. The Trickster on The Flash in the early 1990s. Well, guess what? He’s playing that exact same character again on the current Flash series on The CW – and we have our first look at him. Watch the video, and check out a new poster for the show below!
The trailer gives us a fun glance at Hamill in his original Trickster costume, as well as a menacing look at what James is up to now: coming up with the perfect trick. But that’s not all we see!
When the show returns next Tuesday, March 17th, Central City will be plagued by the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre). On March 24th, we’ll see the return of Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) as well as the debut of his sister, Lisa Snart a.k.a. Golden Glider (Peyton List).
Hamill shows up in the March 31st episode. Jeez, our heroes really can’t catch a break, can they?
The second half of the trailer is entirely dedicated to the mystery of Reverse Flash, who killed Barry Allen’s mother all those years ago. The team is closing in on Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and his many secrets, so I expect we’re in for a very dramatic end to the first season. It’s pretty amazing to think this show hasn’t even completed its first season yet and they’ve packed so much in. Who knows what the second season will bring?
The Flash returns next week, March 17th, on The CW.
