We’re less than a month away from the Season 2 premiere of The Flash and we’re starting to get very excited. (Seriously, like Cisco levels of excited over here.)
Well, a new promo was released yesterday (which you can watch below) and now we can barely contain ourselves. Because guess who’s here? Jay Garrick!
That’s right, check out Teddy Sears as the first speedster Jay Garrick, complete with tin hat with wings, which we first saw in the finale.
The promo reveals Garrick’s purpose in Season 2: he’s arrived from another universe to warn Barry about the dangers that lie ahead as a consequence of the wormhole Barry created in the Season 1 finale.
Garrick won’t be the only character from another world, however. Producer Gabrielle Stanton revealed to TVLine:
“Harrison Wells will be back, but he’s going to be a very different Harrison Wells than we’ve seen before… We’ve got other worlds. We’ve got other timelines. All I’m going to say is he’s from one of those places.”
That’s going to be good to watch because actor Tom Cavanagh was a highlight of Season 1.
The promo also gives us our first look at a new villain, Atom Smasher (Adam Copeland), as well as a continuation of the flirtation between Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Lisa Snart aka the Golden Glider (Peyton List). Honestly, Cisco is such a gift.
The Flash returns to The CW on Tuesday, October 6th.
