Warner Bros. Does Some Damage Control and Releases First LEGO Batman Trailer

Amidst all the less-than-nice reviews for Batman v Superman, the animation side of Warner Bros. released a trailer today that may help morale: the first trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie!

Will Arnett stole the show as LEGO Batman in 2014’s The LEGO Movie, and he’s back once more with his own feature.

After a hilarious, beat-box filled intro by the Caped Crusader himself, the trailer, clocking in at a little over two-minutes, mostly does a good job of conveying the tone of the film. A tone which should absolutely delight fans.

Between saving the city and microwaving leftovers from Alfred, this might be the Batman we truly, finally deserve.

And speaking of Alfred, Arnett is joined by a top-notch cast, including Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Michael Cera as Robin, Zach Galifianakis as the Joker, and Mariah Carey as Mayor Marion Grange.

The LEGO Batman Movie is directed by Chris McKay and is set to hit theaters on February 10, 2017.

What do you think of the new trailer? Are you excited for yet another Batman movie, but this time in LEGO form? Sound off!
