Keep those batteries on hand because these Force Link figures are a hit.
It’s a few months overdue, but the Star Wars Solo Force Link 3 3/4-Inch Action Figures Wave 1 figures are finally getting the podcast treatment. This set of 12 includes a mix of old and new – classic figures from Star Wars films past cross paths with new Solo figures to create one seriously fun set. That said, you may want to invest in some rechargeable batteries as these activators are known to drain your AAAs.
Newcomer Qi’ra comes with an amazing Emilia Clarke head sculpt and features her own stylish jacket, and blaster. As a skinnier and slimmer figure, she comes with both swivel forearms and movable joints. She may not be as posable as other figures, but she definitely looks the part. Plus, her Voice Link activator sounds are incredibly clear! Just listen as Adam plays them on the air.
Chewie looks great with his updated head sculpt. Complete with an all-new outfit and his iconic “rrrrrrahhhh” Voice Link sounds, he fits right in with your other figures. The Range Trooper, meanwhile, looks more like a powered up Snowtrooper and comes with bulky magnetic boots, a fuzzy jacket, and some admittedly generic (albeit cool) voice sounds.
Luke Skywalker comes with a new voice features but is otherwise the same Force Awakens figure, while Maz Kanata comes with a new jetpack and blaster. With five points of articulation, she’s a great figure. K-2SO is more or less the same figure from Rogue One but comes with a new blaster. It’s a fun character and one you can use to troop build, but it’s definitely not an essential part of this set.
