This DC Comics Hawkman Play Arts Kai Variant<\/b> Action Figure spins a unique take on one of DC Comics’ greatest superheroes! Measuring 18 1\/3 inches wide and 12 1\/2 inches tall, Hawkman features multiple points of articulation and a 2 3\/4 inch long wingspan. With a modernized expression and fine details, this figure of Hawkman is taken to the next level.<\/p>\n

Since Hawkman’s origin story begins in ancient Egypt, Square Enix drew inspiration from the Egyptian god Horus. They want Hawkman to appear divine with a broad wingspan. In order to provide majestic flight poses, this design requires the maximum range of motion in the neck, shoulders, and ankles.<\/p>\n

The paint is highly realistic, with a natural flesh tone and metallic armor. The realistic armor paint is of note for Hawkman’s Play Arts Kai Variant, though many other areas were also paid special attention. His accessories include an Nth Metal Hammer, Axe, Kukri Knife, and Thanagarian Relic. The Axe and Kukri Knife represent characteristics of ancient Egypt. Hawkman also utilizes the Thanagarian Relic, the Claw of Horus.<\/p>\n

Hawkman is fully detailed and comes packaged in a lovely window display box. This new DC Comics Hawkman Play Arts Kai Variant Action Figure is coming in January 2015.<\/p>\n
