This is no April Fool’s joke. Alan Tudyk<\/strong> and Nathan Fillion’s<\/strong> upcoming web series<\/a>, Con Man<\/em>, just added stellar and beloved science-fiction cast members to their roster.<\/p>\n

From Battlestar Galactica<\/em><\/a>, Tricia Helfer<\/strong> (Six) and Michael Trucco<\/strong> (Sam Anders) join Con Man.<\/i> I think we can all safely assume that Trucco won’t<\/em> be breaking our hearts this time around. We hope.<\/p>\n

While Emily Kinney<\/strong> may not have had the best exit<\/a> on The Walking Dead<\/em><\/a>, she’s certainly been doing well for herself since then. She will appear on The Flash<\/em><\/a> soon as the Bug-Eyed Bandit and now Con Man<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Robert Patrick<\/strong>, from Terminator 2<\/em> and The X-Files<\/em>, also joined the cast. <\/p>\n

These new cast members are in addition to the previously signed members, including Samantha Smith (Supernatural<\/em>), Nolan North (Uncharted 2<\/em>), and Mindy Sterling (The Legend of Korra<\/em> and Austin Powers<\/em>). Not to mention, of course, Firefly<\/em><\/a> alums Gina Torres and Sean Maher, as well as Amy Acker, Felicia Day, James Gunn, and Seth Green.<\/p>\n

The Indiegogo campaign<\/a> for the project has ten days left and already reached $2,494,564. It’s especially amazing when you think about the fact that Tudyk and Fillion’s initial goal was $425,000.<\/p>\n

Tudyk and Fillion will play characters who used to be on a popular science-fiction show called Spectrum<\/em>. While Fillion’s character has gone on to become a big Hollywood star, Tudyk’s character is only remembered for his role on the show and often goes to science fiction conventions.<\/p>\n

There’s no news about who these beloved stars will play but as we get more information, we’ll be sure to let you know! Filming is set to begin in June.<\/p>\n
