Just because we were freaking out over The Force Awakens<\/em><\/a> and Star Wars Rebels,<\/em><\/a> doesn’t mean we missed the truly spectacular cosplayers at Star Wars<\/a> Celebration.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The talent and dedication of these fans really blew me away when I attended Celebration this weekend. I wish I could have gotten photos of every incredible cosplayer I ran across, but you can check out the ones I was lucky enough to meet in the gallery below.<\/p>\n

My jaw actually dropped when I saw Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon who looked exactly<\/em> like Alec Guiness and Liam Neeson. I was charmed by the little boy dressed up as George Lucas.<\/p>\n

\"boba<\/a> I saw pilots, bounty hunters, members of both the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, and so much more!<\/p>\n

Cosplayers like to be creative and I saw that in full force with interpretative costumes. Many fans crossed franchises – such as a Captain America Jedi, Tinkerbell bounty hunter, or Meg from Disney’s Hercules<\/em> as Han Solo!<\/p>\n

Characters from Star Wars<\/em> seemed to time travel as I ran across an ancient Celtic Stormtrooper, a dapper Stormtrooper (mustache and all!), and felt the power of the 19th century industrial boom with steampunk creations. Just look at Princess Leia in a corset, blaster in hand and boasting several cool gadgets. Or a female Boba Fett in a 19th century dress, complete with a parasol.<\/p>\n

And did you ever think you’d see Boba Fett as a Playboy Bunny posing with Vader? I didn’t think so.<\/p>\n

I’m still amazed by all the cosplayers I saw. You all made for a truly memorable weekend.<\/p>\n
