So far we&#8217;ve seen the Rogue Gallery, Reverse Flash, and we&#8217;re about to see more of Grodd. What could Season 2 hold? According to a new rumor, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/hitlist.asp?theme=Superman&amp;id=EN-407186506\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Superman<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Reddit user <a href=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/7qbzIu0.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Comic Central City<\/a> stated a source told him that co-creator and executive producer of <em>The Flash,<\/em> <strong>Greg Berlanti<\/strong>, spoke at a CW event and reveales that Superman might show up in Season 2.<\/p>\n<p>The second part of the rumor is that <strong>Tom Welling<\/strong>, who played the Man of Steel on <em>Smallville<\/em>, will reprise his role. It&#8217;s not the first time the two series have collided:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\"><p>Fans of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Smallville?src=hash\">#Smallville<\/a> will recognize the building at the end of this street. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Flash?src=hash\">#Flash<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/pvLZYRcb8w\" class=\"broken_link\">pic.twitter.com\/pvLZYRcb8w<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Flash TV News \u26a1 (@FlashTVNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FlashTVNews\/status\/470267418166566912\">May 24, 2014<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Comic Central City went on to say that Superman could appear in an alternate timeline, where Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) assume their super alter-egos, Killer Frost and Vibe.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, a rep for the show told <a href=\"http:\/\/hollywoodlife.com\/2015\/04\/22\/superman-the-flash-season-2-tom-welling-smallville\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HollywoodLife<\/a> that the report is not true.<\/p>\n<p>However, this could mean the Tom Welling part is not true, not that a Superman appearance isn&#8217;t true. After all, Berlanti is working on the upcoming <a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/news\/2015\/03\/06\/first-look-at-cbs-supergirl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Supergirl<\/a> TV series, which could mean a super crossover with <em>The Flash<\/em> and\/or <em>Arrow<\/em> of some sort.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Flash<\/em> has four episodes left in its first season. The next episode, &#8220;The Trap&#8221;, airs on April 28th at 8PM on The CW.<\/p>\n<p>While it&#8217;s entirely speculation at this point, would you want to see Superman show up on <em>The Flash?<\/em> Do you want Tom Welling to play him again?
