Back in January<\/a>, there was a hint that Star Wars<\/em><\/a> could be coming to the popular video game series Disney Infinity<\/a><\/strong><\/em> in a big way. Yesterday, Disney confirmed the long-standing rumor with new videos and screenshots for the upcoming game, Disney Infinity 3.0,<\/em> which you can check out below.<\/p>\n

Disney Infinity 2.0<\/em> introduced Marvel characters and now Disney is including characters from their 2012 deal with Lucasfilm.<\/p>\n

In the new game, there will be three Star Wars<\/em> sets fans can play – one set during the prequels, another during the original trilogy, and finally one that takes place during The Force Awakens.<\/em><\/p>\n

Furthermore, the starter set will include the main game, the Star Wars<\/em> prequel set, and figures of fan favorites Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker. Other sets will introduce more familiar characters.<\/p>\n

That’s not all Disney Infinity 3.0<\/em> will offer, though. Disney also announced that other playsets will be based on the upcoming Pixar film Inside Out,<\/em> Avengers: Age of Ultron,<\/em> and Tron: Legacy.<\/em><\/p>\n

While there’s no official release date yet, Disney Infinity 3.0<\/em> will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, iOS, and Android devices.<\/p>\n
