Rowling released a profile on interationally-acclaimed magical musician Celestina Warbeck. The singing sorceress is a household name in the wizarding world and Molly Weasley&#8217;s favorite singer. The short profile gives a brief overview of Celestina Warbeck&#8217;s life and personality.<\/p>\n<p>In the beginning stages of Harry Potter&#8217;s epic story, Rowling wrote a series of &#8216;Daily Prophet&#8217; stories which Celestina the singing sensation appeared in. This short series was produced for a short-lived fan club run by Bloomsbury Publishing.<\/p>\n<p>Rowling revealed that Celestina Warbeck is one of her favorite &#8216;offstage&#8217; characters despite never meeting Warbeck in any of the Potter novels. She also stated that Warbeck resembles Welsh singer Shirley Bassey in both looks and style.<\/p>\n<p>The Pottermore profile for Celestina Warbeck was released on August 18, which happens to be the musician&#8217;s birth date. The singer was a half-blooded Gryffindor (wizard father, Muggle mother) with a wand of larch and phoenix feather. She married thrice and had one son.<\/p>\n<p>The profile goes on to describe Warbeck&#8217;s early life, including her mother&#8217;s desire for a wizarding stage school. Rowling lists a special skill as the ability to drown out a chorus of banshees. Later in the piece, Rowling says that Warbeck would appear with a chorus of banshees. Warbeck also worked philanthropically, raising funds for St. Mungo&#8217;s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Celestina Warbeck&#8217;s best-known songs include &#8216;You Charmed the Heart Right Out of Me,&#8217; &#8216;A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love,&#8217; &#8216;Beat Back Those Bludgers, Boys, and Chuck That Quaffle Here,&#8217; and &#8216;You Stole My Cauldron But You Can&#8217;t Have My Heart.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees perform live every day in Diagon Alley at the Universal Orlando Resort.
