In the never-ending series of “will we ever get Kingdom Hearts 3,”<\/em> there has been a development about not only that game but a new installment in the Kingdom Hearts<\/strong><\/em><\/a> franchise.<\/p>\n Revealed by KH13<\/a>, a LinkedIn profile for a Square Enix employee shows details for KH3,<\/em> as well as another game curiously titled Kingdom Hearts 2.9.<\/em><\/p>\n Check it out for yourself!<\/p>\n There is a chance the profile could be fake, especially given it only has two connections, but KH13 verified the connections. There’s also the little detail that 2.9 appeared on a schedule for Square Enix at E3 2015<\/a> before being taken off.<\/p>\n The profile reveals that 2.9 would be for both PS3 and PS4, which probably indicates a release relatively soon (perhaps next year?).<\/p>\n However, even more interesting are the KH3<\/em> details, from mulitplayer functions to new Gummi Ship capabilities, as well as, finally, Pixar being introduced to the KH<\/em> universe.<\/p>\n Until this is proven one way or the other, I’m going to keep daydreaming about these possibilities and yelling into the void about KH3.<\/em> Remember, kids, it’s been almost ten years since KH2,<\/em> three years since the last official game (Dream Drop Distance<\/em>), and one year since the last collection (Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix<\/em>).<\/p>\n So what do you guys think?
