DC’s<\/strong><\/a> TV universe gets larger and larger and now we have our first official look at two new, upcoming characters: Hawkgirl and Hawkman!<\/strong><\/p>\n From the upcoming winter show Legends of Tomorrow,<\/em><\/strong> a spin-off from Arrow<\/em><\/a> and The Flash<\/a>,<\/em> come two of DC’s most famous and long-lasting heroes and lovers.<\/p>\n Are you ready to see them? Because they look awesome.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Right. RIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.<\/p>\n You might notice neither of them have their massive, epic wings but I’m hoping that’s simply because The CW is saving those for a jaw-dropping moment on television. Or they’ve updated the wings somehow and want to keep them hush-hush. Either way, I think this first look is fantastic.<\/p>\n We first saw Ciara Ren\u00e9e<\/a> as Hawkgirl aka Kendra Saunders in The Flash<\/em> Season 1 finale<\/a>, but this is our first look at her in costume.<\/p>\n She’ll be joined by Falk Hentschel as Hawkman aka Carter Hall to join a team led by Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) to take on Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).<\/p>\n Hawkgirl and Hawkman are Egyptian beings whose hawk powers derive from the god Horus who is typically depicted as a falcon\/hawk-headed man.<\/p>\n It’s likely we’ll see them on The Flash<\/em> and\/or Arrow<\/em> first but then they’ll really get into the action with Legends of Tomorrow,<\/em> which is set to debut on The CW in early 2016 as a midseason series.<\/p>\n What do you think of Hawkgirl and Hawkman’s look?
