If you are a fan of <em>Flash Gordon<\/em> and will be in London on Saturday, November 28, 2015, you definitely want to check out this event!<\/p>\n<p>And don\u2019t forget Bif Bang Pow! has an amazing assortment of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/hitlist.asp?eeshop=99&amp;Theme=Flash+Gordon&amp;SearchOrder=thm&amp;utm_source=ee-blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_content=anniversary-event&amp;utm_campaign=flash_gordon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Flash Gordon<\/em> collectibles<\/a> to help celebrate the anniversary of this landmark film\u2019s premiere 35 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bifbangpow.com\/2015\/10\/flash-gordon-35th-anniversary_14.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bif Bang Pow!&#8217;s site<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In December, 1980, the film \u201cFlash Gordon\u201d first hit cinema screens like a bolt of lightning.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by Dino Delaurentis and helmed by director Mike Hodges, the kaleidoscopic worlds and inhabitants of Mongo burst into life like no comic property seen before or since, all accompanied by a legendary QUEEN soundtrack.<\/p>\n<p>Now, 35 years later, an event at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, iconic headquarters of the famous awards, celebrates this great film with a screening of the film that has been a fan favorite and inspiration since it&#8217;s debut. For the first time, many of the cast and crew that helped bring \u201cFlash Gordon\u201d to &#8220;life&#8221; will converge for one night only.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Confirmed guests include:<\/strong><br \/>\nSam J Jones (Flash Gordon)<br \/>\nMelody Anderson (Dale Arden)<br \/>\nBrian Blessed (Prince Vultan)<br \/>\nOrnella Muti (Princess Aura)<br \/>\nDeep Roy (Princess Aura\u2019s Pet)<br \/>\nHoward Blake (Composer)<br \/>\nGeorge Gibbs (SFX Supervisor)<br \/>\nDave Watson (SFX Supervisor)<br \/>\nTrevor Butterfield (Hawksman and MingsGuard)<br \/>\n<em>With more to be announced.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The evening will begin at 6pm on a small red carpet leading into the venue, (with space for photographers as cast, crew and ticket holders enter the venue)\u2026Ticket holders will then enjoy a reception before moving into the Princess Anne Theatre where they will enjoy a screening of the 1980 classic \u201cFlash Gordon\u201d \u2013 with thanks to Studio Canal.<\/p>\n<p>After the screening, the cast and crew will take to the stage and take part in a Q&amp;A, moderated by actor\/producer and Bif Bang Pow! founder Jason Lenzi.
