The fantastic director Quentin Tarantino comes back to the big screen this Christmas with his next feature film, The Hateful Eight<\/a>.<\/strong><\/em> With a tagline like “spend the holidays with someone you hate,” you know it’s going to be an interesting experience. The first official trailer was released today – check it out below!<\/p>\n

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:<\/p>\n

While racing toward the town of Red Rock in post-Civil War Wyoming, bounty hunter John “The Hangman” Ruth (Kurt Russell) and his fugitive prisoner, Daisy (Jennifer Jason Leigh) encounter another bounty hunter (Samuel L. Jackson) and a man (Walton Goggins) who claims to be a sheriff. Hoping to find shelter from a blizzard, the group travels to a stagecoach stopover located on a mountain pass. After encountering four strangers, they may not make it to their destination.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

John announces to the group that the reward for Daisy is $10,000 and the money is his.<\/p>\n

As you can expect from a Tarantino film, things will get violent and wild as these eight unique and colorful characters continue to sit it out in one building together with a lot of money on the line.<\/p>\n

There are some great lines (again, as one would expect from a Tarantino script) and I think it’s clear there will be plenty to love from the performances. I always look forward to new Tarantino films and this is no exception.<\/p>\n

The Hateful Eight<\/em> stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, and Channing Tatum. It hits theaters December 25th.<\/p>\n
