{"id":33254,"date":"2015-11-24T12:48:57","date_gmt":"2015-11-24T19:48:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com/news\/?p=33254"},"modified":"2019-03-06T15:20:40","modified_gmt":"2019-03-06T23:20:40","slug":"the-legend-of-zelda-studio-ghibli-fanmade-posters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com/news\/the-legend-of-zelda-studio-ghibli-fanmade-posters\/","title":{"rendered":"Artist Imagines What The Legend of Zelda Would Look Like as a Studio Ghibli Film"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Other than the rumor that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com/news\/2015\/02\/06\/live-action-legend-of-zelda-possibly-coming-to-netflix\/\">Netflix<\/a> is adapting a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/hitlist.asp?theme=Legend+of+Zelda&amp;id=EN-407186506\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>Legend of Zelda<\/strong><\/em><\/a> series, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/hitlist.asp?theme=Nintendo&amp;id=EN-407186506\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Nintendo<\/strong><\/a> has been very tight-lipped about any adaptations of their properties.<\/p>\n<p>It may be for good reason (we all remember the <em>Super Mario<\/em> movie), but that doesn&#8217;t change the fact that <em>Zelda<\/em> is perhaps the video game franchise ripest for adapting, with its fantasy and Hero&#8217;s Journey elements.<\/p>\n<p>Now artist <strong>Matt Vince,<\/strong> with his awesome <a href=\"http:\/\/matt--vince.tumblr.com\/post\/133757186344\/studio-ghibli-x-legend-of-zelda-poster-concepts-i\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fanmade posters<\/a>, has convinced me <em>who<\/em> should adapt this property: <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/hitlist.asp?searchfield=ghibli&amp;id=EN-407186506\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Studio Ghibli<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Check them out!<\/p>\n<p><center><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The detail and style of these are gorgeous and I can already picture the film with its soft animation and colors. Vince also made a mention of imagining &#8220;the score for something like this&#8221; on his blog post, and now I&#8217;m a little upset it&#8217;ll never happen. Because it would be so perfect.<\/p>\n<p>Studio Ghibli has halted production since Hayao Miyazaki\u2019s retirement in 2014, but I want them to resume just for this now.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of these posters?
