Bernini, who?*<\/p>\n

There’s a new sculptor in town, and he goes by the name of Nathan Sawaya.<\/strong> This new artist combines two of our favorite things: DC Comics<\/strong><\/a> and LEGO<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Running until May 1, 2016 in Sydney, Australia, The Art of the Brick: DC Comics<\/em> exhibit at the Powerhouse Museum shows off Sawaya’s incredible, unique, and life-sized creations, including one of the Batmobile, Superman, and more.<\/p>\n

Sawaya calls the exhibit something of an “origin story” and that it draws on “that moment when we\u2019re all called to adventure.”<\/p>\n

There are 120 pieces in the exhibit (you can check out a few below), but my personal favorite has to be the Flash. Check out the way he constructed the effects of the speedster blurring by!<\/p>\n

The exhibit is on display now and running until May of next year.<\/p>\n
