Until now. Season 2 has been dubbed &#8220;Rise of the Villains,&#8221; after all.<\/p>\n<p>Last we saw of the Penguin, he was shattered over his mother&#8217;s death and forming an alliance with Cory Michael Smith&#8217;s Edward Nygma aka the Riddler. How will the Penguin\u2019s father play into things? We&#8217;ll just have to wait and see.<\/p>\n<p>Other new villains to debut in the second half of the season include Mr. Freeze (who we initially met in the midseason finale), Mad Hatter, Clayface, and Hugo Strange.<\/p>\n<p><em>Gotham<\/em> returns on February 29 on FOX.<\/p>\n<p>Are you excited to see Paul Reubens as Penguin&#8217;s father again?
