While there will be a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/hitlist.asp?theme=Labyrinth&amp;utm_source=ee-blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=entertainment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Labyrinth<\/em><\/strong><\/a> film, it&#8217;s not going to be a reboot or remake.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole Perlman, the original writer for <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em> and screenwriter for this new movie, took to Twitter to clarify the various internet reports.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Guys, please don&#8217;t fall for all the clickbait. I would never seek to profit from Bowie&#8217;s death.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Nicole Perlman (@Uncannygirl) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Uncannygirl\/status\/691036873523769345\">January 23, 2016<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>While the timing <em>is<\/em> unfortunate, her tweets read as sincere, and I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s any intentional disrespect towards the late David Bowie.<\/p>\n<p>As her tweets also reveal, this new film is a &#8220;continuation.&#8221; Whether that means direct sequel or simply a new story in the same universe remains to be seen, but it&#8217;s definitely not a reboot.<\/p>\n<p>I saw <em>Labyrinth<\/em> for the first time as an adult, so I don&#8217;t have the nostalgic attachment to it that I know a lot of other people my age have, and I don&#8217;t have strong feelings about another film one way or the other.<\/p>\n<p>But I&#8217;m sure you guys might!<\/p>\n<p>So what do you think about a new <em>Labyrinth<\/em> movie?
